Ribbit. Ribbit. Pop. Glub glub. QUACK! Those were the sounds I heard today. All of these sounds came from the fish ponds surrounding Telč. There were all types of fish and other marine animals at the ponds: coy fish, catfish, frogs, crickets, fish I don't even know the name of, you name it! It was so peaceful that I just had to get something to read. The only problem was, I didn't have anything to read. So I popped into the nearest cafe to see if there were any pamphlets about Telč's history or something. I really didn't think there would be anything there, but then I saw a booklet about Telč. It was chalk full of information that would take too too long to write about in this blog.
One thing I found out that there was a ruined castle somewhere. I tried to look for it, and eventually, I found a path that led up to it. The hike up wasn't very strenuous, more like a nice little walk. And a little while later, I reached the top.
The ruin was fantastic! I could see almost every stairwell, table, wall, bell tower, and door. Of course, the whole thing was a ruin, but still... I found a place where anyone could have a virtual tour of the ruin, and I paid the person at the counter for my little speaker thingymajigger.I was a bit dissapointed with the recording, because I found out that it was all in Czech! I had to go back to the counter to trade it in for an English one. Sadly, the person hardly spoke any English whatsoever, and it was hard to get the speaker from him, but eventually I prevailed.
That was a lot better, each site had loads of information and I just wanted to inspect everything close up, but visitors had to look from behind the line at everything the speaker was describing.
After that, I went back down the trail and had lunch at the same cafe that I had gotten the pamphlet from. I had schnitzel again, but I think I'm going to try something different tomorrow, seeing as I've had it quite a few times.

When I was done with lunch I went for a little walk around the town to look at all of the architecture and houses. Each house was a different color than the one right next to it, and it felt like I was walking inside a rainbow.
By then I had to get to my hotel, because it likes its guests to check in early. I decided there wasn't much else to do, so I just went back and got into bed. I wanted to be up very early the next day so that I could get as much done as possible.
