Day 2

Today, Emmanuel and I got up to the sweet smell of pancakes. I don't know if Emmanuel had ever had pancakes before, but we both enjoyed them. I poured syrup on mine, and Emmanuel asked what it was. I laughed and explained the concept of syrup on pancakes.

After that we played baseball on my Wii. Emmanuel was extremely interested at how it all worked, and I tried to explain how there were sensors on each remote and a receiver by the TV. We had a really fun time.

After a couple hours of that, we went down to the bluffs with my dog, Luna, for a walk. I took him to the seal watch to see the humongous seals rolling around in the sand below us. Emmanuel and I laughed at one that was trying to roll over, but was just too fat. We walked back to my car, still laughing.

Next, we went to The Spot Burger for lunch. This time, Emmanuel was ready to taste the burger. After going to In-n-Out, The Spot wasn't very fantastic.

Finally, it was time to go to the concert. We both got in my car, and drove all the way to Los Angeles to see the WPA concert there. It was great. I'm not sure if Emmanuel liked all of the screaming, but he definitely liked the music. We left the concert half deaf. It was really fun though, and we were exhausted. We ate dinner, macaroni and cheese, and went to bed.
