In the Czech Republic, the main language spoken is Czech. It is very similar to Slovak, and, to a lesser extent, Polish and Sorbian. Here are some phrases/words that I thought might be useful when I go there:
Hello! - Dobrý den!
Good evening! - Dobrý večer!
Goodbye! - Na shledanou!
Thank you. - Děkuji.
You're welcome. - Není zač. / Prosím.
Excuse me. - S dovolením.
My name is ____. - Jmenuji se ____.
How are you? - Jak se máte?
What is your name? - Jak se jmenujete?
Help! - Pomoc!
