Day 4

Today was not as eventful as the last three days. We really just sat around most of the day, making puzzles, playing Wii, and playing board games. I think that Emmanuel was getting kind of bored. So I took him to Chase Palm Park.

At the park we played 'tag' with some of my friends. Emmanuel was really fast, even with his prosthetic leg, and none of us could outrun him. I could tell that he was really proud about how fast he could run by the smile on his face. Every time he tagged one of us he would laugh a lot.

Since he seemed so intrigued, we played a lot of different variations on the game, so that we could get a workout, along with him. We had a great time together.

When we got home, we were really hot and felt like going to the pool. So we got on our swimsuits (my dad had to let Emmanuel borrow one) and drove to the Cate pool.
It was obvious that Emmanuel really wanted to be good at swimming. I asked him why, and he told me that he had met another person that didn't have any legs that was a really good swimmer. Emmanuel said that he wanted to be as ambitious as the other person was.

After a couple hours of swimming, it was about six o'clock: time to go home for dinner. Tonight, we had steak for dinner. It was really delicious and tasty. We decided to watch a movie, and I knew just what to choose…

Harry Potter was my choice. I decided to show it to Emmanuel because it was so famous in America. We watched the first one, because Emmanuel might have been lost with any of the others. We had ice cream along with it, which Emmanuel was amazed at. He just couldn't grasp the concept of milk being frozen and added to a bunch of other ingredients to make something so sweet and cold.

Finally, it was time to get some sleep, and that is just what we did.
